Trail Mix Chocolate Bark

Made with silky, smooth dark chocolate topped with an assortment of dried fruits and nuts, these trail mix chocolate barks are an incredibly scrumptious snack!

Ingredients

• 14 Ounces Good Quality Chocolate (Dark, White or Milk)

• 1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds, Raw

• 1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries

• 1/2 Cup Shelled Pistachios, Roasted, Unsalted

• 1/2 Cup Banana Chips

Flaky Sea Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate in a double boiler stirring occasionally until completely melted. Alternatively, chocolate can be melted in the microwave at 30 second intervals until it is about 80% melted. Stir warmed chocolate until remaining pieces of chocolate are completely melted.
  3. Using a spatula, spread melted chocolate onto prepared baking sheet.
  4. One at a time, evenly spread dried fruits and nuts over the surface of chocolate to the edges. Finish with a light sprinkling of sea salt to taste. There may be some leftover dried fruit and nuts.
  5. Place baking sheet in the fridge and allow chocolate bark to set for at least 30 minutes but up to (1) hour. The longer the bark sets the easier it will be to break without melting too readily.
  6. Once trail mix chocolate bark has set, use hands to break into 24 pieces.
