These easy peanut butter rice krispies treats made with honey in place of marshmallows and butter are the prefect no-bake treat that will satisfy your peanut butter and chocolate cravings!
I am so glad to be working with the team at Nielsen Massey again this time for their summer no-bake nostalgic treats campaign. Growing up, rice krispies treats were my go-to snack. They were sweet, crunchy, and just down right delicious! So without much thought, I knew that I wanted to make rice krispies treats as my contribution to the summer no-bake nostalgic treats campaign. Currently, I have been craving peanut butter so it did not take long to decide what flavor these rice krispies treats were going to be – peanut butter! For a slightly health-ish twist on classic rice krispies treats, I used honey in place of marshmallows and butter. The honey in these easy peanut butter rice krispies treats added the perfect amount of sweetness and paired beautifully with the peanut butter making for the most yummy snack. To sweeten the deal, these easy peanut butter rice krispies treats are no-bake and are a breeze to make requiring only 8 ingredients!
